Baghouse filter bags
Polyester, acrylic, PPS, Nomex, P84, PTFE, fibreglass and anti-static needle felt. Round bags, snap-band or clamp collar, PTFE membrane on request.
Materials, sizes and selection →Ecoterva supplies needle-felt filter bags in eight fibre types, drop-in pulse valve diaphragms, and small medical waste incinerators from 10 to 500 kg/h. Tell us your gas temperature, dust chemistry and bag dimensions, and we will specify the right media instead of the cheapest one.
Most baghouse problems are not one-part problems. A bag fails because the diaphragm leaks, or the incinerator runs wet and the media hydrolyses. Buying the bag and the valve part from the same supplier means somebody is responsible for the whole picture.
Polyester, acrylic, PPS, Nomex, P84, PTFE, fibreglass and anti-static needle felt. Round bags, snap-band or clamp collar, PTFE membrane on request.
Materials, sizes and selection →Drop-in replacements for Goyen, SBFEC, ASCO and Mecair pulse valves. NBR for standard duty, Viton for hot or acidic gas, EPDM for wet service.
Sizes and material options →Two-chamber units from 10 to 500 kg/h for hospitals, clinics and regional treatment centres. Secondary chamber 1100–1200 °C, gas residence ≥2.0 s.
Models and process data →A filter bag is a chemical decision as much as a mechanical one. Two plants running the same 130 °C gas can need completely different media, because one is dry and the other is saturated with acid moisture.
So before we send a price, we ask four questions: gas temperature (continuous and peak), moisture and acid load, dust concentration and particle size, and the exact bag dimensions. If you send a photo of the old bag and its nameplate data, that is usually enough.
| Dimensions | Diameter × length, or a photo with a tape measure |
| Gas temperature | Continuous and peak, °C |
| Chemistry | Moisture, SO₂, HCl, O₂ level |
| Dust load | Inlet g/m³ and typical particle size |
| Bag top | Snap band, clamp collar or rope cuff |
| Quantity | Pieces per year, or per replacement cycle |
Missing some of this? Send what you have and we will work from there.
The same eight fibre types cover a lot of ground. These are the applications we quote most often.
Acid gas plus moisture — usually PPS or PTFE with a PTFE membrane.
PPS is the default above 150 °C; watch oxygen and sulphur.
Abrasive dust at moderate temperature — polyester or aramid.
Hot, dry and oily — aramid or P84, with oil repellent finish.
Short, practical answers to the questions buyers actually ask before ordering.
Typical service life, the three failure modes that cut it short, and how to read a failed bag.
Temperature is the easy part. Oxygen, acid dew point and moisture decide which media survives.
Five causes, in the order worth investigating, plus how to pick NBR, Viton or EPDM.
Send the old bag dimensions, a photo of the failed part, or the valve model number. We reply with a material recommendation and a price — usually within one working day.
