Pulse valve diaphragm kits
The diaphragm is the part that actually fails on a pulse valve — usually within 12 to 24 months, sooner on wet or oily air. Every kit contains the large diaphragm, small diaphragm, spring and O-ring, so the valve is rebuilt in one go rather than three.
1" · Right-angle
1" Right-Angle Pulse Valve Diaphragm
The most commonly replaced diaphragm in the baghouse

1.5" Right-Angle Pulse Valve Diaphragm
High-flow replacement for larger baghouses

1" Submerged Pulse Valve Diaphragm (DMF-Z)
Matches the DMF-Z series used on most Chinese-built collectors
1" · Submerged
1" Submerged Pulse Valve Diaphragm (DMF-Y)
For manifold-mounted valves buried in the air tank

1.5" Pulse Valve Diaphragm (ASCO type)
Replacement for imported European valve bodies

1.5" Pulse Valve Diaphragm (Mecair type)
Drop-in set for Mecair-style bodies
Diaphragm material — pick by air quality, not by price
Most premature diaphragm failures are an air problem showing up as a rubber problem.
| Material | Temperature | Best for | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| NBR (Buna-N) | −20 to 80°C | Compressed air, general purpose, lowest cost | Standard supply. Swells in contact with oil mist from a poorly maintained compressor — fix the dryer, not the diaphragm. |
| Viton / FKM | −20 to 200°C | Hot gas, oil carry-over, chemical plants | Roughly 3× the price of NBR. Justified where pulse air is hot or oil-contaminated. |
| EPDM | −40 to 120°C | Outdoor units, steam, weather exposure | Best ozone and weather resistance, poor resistance to petroleum oils. |
How to identify the right kit
Four details settle it. Photograph the valve nameplate and the old diaphragm and we can usually match it from that.
- Port size — 1", 1.5", 2", 2.5" or 3" (measure the inlet thread, not the body)
- Body type — right-angle, submerged (manifold mounted) or inline
- Valve family — Goyen, SBFEC DMF-Z / DMF-Y, ASCO, Mecair, Turbo
- Air condition — NBR for clean dry air below 80°C, Viton above
| Set contents | Large diaphragm, small diaphragm, spring, O-ring |
| Operating pressure | 0.2 – 0.8 MPa |
| Air quality | Dry, oil-free, filtered to 5 µm recommended |
| Cycle life | ~1 million cycles (NBR, clean air) |
| Replacement interval | 12 – 24 months typical |
| Packing | Individual bag, 10 sets per inner box |

Order the bags and the diaphragms together
A bag change and a valve rebuild happen in the same shutdown. Combining them saves a second freight charge and a second customs entry.

Nameplate plus the old diaphragm is enough for us to match the kit. Tell us how many valves are on the unit and we will quote the full set.
